I once picked up some free Irises left by the road, in a cardboard box. Intending to plant those Irises at another time, I put them under the backyard maple tree for protection until I could get to them. Well, I never did and winter came and went, the box disintegrated but the Irises thrived, and do still to this day, right where I dropped them. No judgment- they just kept growing. They remind me of my oldest sister, Diane who is kind and caring. I can be very honest with her, even when it is uncomfortable. She may not agree with what I have to say but she never judges, forever keeping the lines of communication open.
