Submission guidelines for JR Finally Art
Thank you for your interest in submitting your art to JR Finally Art.
Please note that we will only accept submissions online at [email protected]. You will find the application form below. Please provide the requested information and send it along with five (5) images) of your work in jpeg format, 300 DPI, and no larger than 1MB. We will not accept submissions by hand delivery or review portfolios on an impromptu basis.
Criteria for submissions.
To be considered for a featured artist exhibit, please submit a description of your proposed exhibit along with your resume, artist’s statement and 5 images of the work to be exhibited. If the exhibit would require special installation, please provide a complete description of the installation process. The exhibit must be cohesive and appealing to our patrons and audience.
You will be notified by email of our decision.
Submissions will be reviewed on a monthly basis. Please refrain from contacting the gallery while your work is in the review process. Notification of the gallery’s selection will be sent up completion of the monthly review. Prior to final acceptance, the gallery will make an appointment with the artist to bring the actual work to the gallery for final review.
Upon acceptance, please deliver your work, with installation instructions, if needed, on the date indicated in your acceptance notice. Please contact the gallery if you need to arrange for a different date or time for delivery. Your work must be properly packed or covered for safe storage. All work must be accompanied by the completed W9 form and signed contract, which will be provided to the artist by the gallery upon acceptance.

Criteria for submissions.
- Only original art. We will not accept artwork copied directly from an image/photo other than your own. Media we will consider: Painting, fine art photography, jewelry, pottery, wood, hand pulled prints, mixed media and fabric art.
- Only gallery ready work will be accepted. All paintings/photos or 2d art must be framed, (if needed), wired and ready to hang. Any sealants and varnishes should be applied prior to delivery. Work not gallery ready will not be accepted.
- All submissions must be accompanied by the artist’s resume, statement and inventory of images submitted. Indicate your name, title, price, media, image size and frame size on the inventory.
- Images must be in jpeg format, 300 DPI, and no larger than 1MB. All images must be high resolution (300 DPI) and cropped to show the artwork only.
- Some exhibits, such as featured artist, will have a small fee (approximately $40) that will be used to cover opening costs including refreshments. These fees will be discussed and determined at the time which proposals are being finalized. The featured artist exhibit will be installed on a designated gallery wall measuring approximately 6’ X 6’.
